Q. WHAT'S YOUR NAME?

A. Nick Toothman

Q. WHAT IS YOUR TITLE?

A. Marketing Manager

Q. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME OF YOUR BREWERY?

A: Our owner, Steve, grew up a hockey fanatic in the St. Louis area. As he got older, he fell in love with the art of brewing. The two loves of hockey and beer collided to create Center Ice Brewery!

Q. WHAT BEER/BRANDS INSPIRED YOU IN CREATING YOUR OWN BRAND?

A. Sierra Nevada has always paved the way for me in the beer industry. Torpedo Extra IPA got me into enjoying IPAs and the Pale Ale is a go-to in the drinkability category.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR BREWERY MOST KNOWN FOR?

A. Hockey history and damn good beers! We were able to pay homage to the historic St. Louis Arena, which was imploded in 1999. We were lucky enough to get our hands on salvaged wood to create our bar and tabletops. This inspired the name of our favorite beer, The Old Arena Lager.

Q. THE ALIENS HAVE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH, YOU GET ONE LAST ITEM FROM YOUR BREWERY'S MENU BEFORE THEY EVAPORATE EARTH. WHAT IS IT?

A. It's hard not to go with something off the menu from our neighbors, Pappy's Smokehouse. Their ribs and a cold Old Arena Lager would be the way to go!

Q. WHAT BEERS ARE IN YOUR FRIDGE RIGHT NOW?

A. Wellspent - Raspberry On the Bright Side, Lagunitas - Hazy Wonder IPA, and New Glarus Brewing -Spotted Cow

Q. WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE BEER(S)?

A. ...Hamm's!

Q. WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE YOU GOT INTO BEER?

A. I did travel marketing for a corporate fast-food chain based in the Midwest. I was able to visit breweries from all over the country and that inspired me to try my hand in the industry!
